Bronze reproduction of a statue in the National Archeological Museum Athens
The original statue was found in the Sea.
Some people say its Poseidon because he has a crown and beard as does Zeus but looking at the life size statue one can draw the conclusion that it is Zeus throwing a lightening bolt and not a long trident that would cover the face of the statue. Plus there are many existing statues of Zeus in the stance, in which he is throwing a lightening bolt.
